hey my coolsense isnt working and i have tried installing the newest version but it says i already have it instaled but i cant found it anywhere on my laptop

Good Day.  Thank you for posting your query in the HP community.  I read the post regarding issues with HP coolsense not working. I will be delighted to assist you here.

Superb description and commendable diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

For better clarity and to assist you correctly, I would require more information regarding this:

  • Did you check in programs and features to try and uninstall it?

For now, please try these steps again:

  • Follow the steps mentioned in this link: http://hp.care/2yqgZCn to remove HP coolsense from the computer.
  • It is a forum link authored by a former HP employee.
  • You could also check this link: http://hp.care/2yqh2hx  to remove it which is authored by an HP forum expert and accepted as a solution.
  • Then update it from HP support assistant and install it on your computer.
  • You could try this link: http://hp.care/2yr0mXf to install it also. It is authored by an HP forum expert and is an accepted solution.
  • Follow this link: http://hp.care/2yqjViy which explains everything about HP coolsense with FAQs also.

 

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, Going by your technical expertise and competence I am sure you will be able to perform these steps without breaking a sweat.
