HP Recommended
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Elitebook 8440p laptop needs drivers for the card reader. the operating system was Windows 7 but that was upgraded to Windows 10 and the card reader is not  working as I believe it needs drivers that windows 10 did not provide.  How to I get the needed drivers?

Hi:

 

HP does not support the notebook for W10 so there are no W10 drivers for the 8440p.

 

You use the W7 driver:

 

Ricoh Media Card Reader Driver 

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501-47000/sp46972.exe

 

You can also use the W7 drivers for any other devices that need drivers in the device manager.
