need the synaptics touchpad control panel restored

HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0xxxn 65XX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The latest driver update for synaptics smbus clickpad driver (19.5.35.47) has erased / hidden the synaptics control panel which I use to customize several things about the touchpad.  How can I reccover this applet.

The synaptics apps from Microsoft store result in errors I the download even after clearing the cache and rebooting

Windows 10 version 1903

Please help

Roll back does not return me the control panel...…(as it was not present at that time too

Only the original driver software including the touchpad control panel program gives me the Synaptics tab on mouse cpl.  Any driver update after that either from windows or HP obliterates the touchpad panel software.  In fact the newer touchpad driver software softpaqs from HP do not have the software but only the driver update.  (I can tell this from the size of the file
