I have a hp DV 9000 series notebook that I downgraded to xp now I need help with the drivers for the RTL8168B/8111B network drivers, 32 bit version of xp by the way. Actually I need help finding all the hardware drivers, accept the touchpad it seems to be functioning.

Hi:

 

HP did not support your notebook for WXP, only Vista.

 

According to the specs it has an AMD processor, which means it has the Nvidia chipset and the chipset driver installs the ethernet driver amongst other devices.

 

HP retired support for the model series several years ago.

 

The reputable 3rd party website may have some XP drivers that may work.

 

The XP drivers were for the older dv9000 > dv9400 models.

 

Here's the link to the driver that should install the ethernet controller.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to take a look at this old XP downgrade guide that was written many years ago.
