network controller/bcm43142a0/wifi card driver/network driver required

Hi I formatted my laptop and installed new clean windows 8 64 bits. 

All went well until I encountered  trouble installing network adapter drivers for my pc.

I have tried installing all network drivers listed in official websites with no results.

Installing Broadcom drivers shows error like " path C:\programfiles\Broadcom\driver not found"

Is there anyway to go past this trouble?

Hi:

Broadcom never developed a W8 driver for that model wifi card. 

If you want to use the internal wifi card, connect by ethernet or usb wireless network adapter, do the required updates to W8, so you can get the free upgrade to W8.1 from the Windows Store, and then you can use the W8.1 BCM wifi and bluetooth drivers from your notebook's support page.

You're very welcome.

There is only 1 W8 wifi driver ever made for that model card, but I think it is for an older hardware revision of the card.

This is the only W8 driver in existance for the bcm43142 wifi card (oldest hardware revision)...you can try it and see if it works.

Broadcom Wireless LAN drivers are required to enable the integrated Broadcom Wireless LAN adapter.

If it does, here is the corresponding W8 BT driver.

This package contains the Broadcom Bluetooth driver for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth Driver is required to enable Broadcom Bluetooth devices.

If it doesn't, then you know what you have to do.
