I have the same laptop, the only difference is that mine has 12 GB RAM while yours has 4. 4GB is really not a lot to work with and if you have many apps running then that could be the problem. Try upgrading your RAM.

 

Last week mine was running extremely slow and I do believe it was caused by an update. Online I found a solution to disable background apps that you can try. Go to settings > privacy > background apps > Turn them all off.

 

My laptop got another 1803 update that same day so I am not sure if it was the above that fixed it or the update. Check to ensure that your laptop is fully up to date, check and install the updates until you get the message that it is up to date. settings > update and security > check for updates.

 

If all else fails try a system refresh or upgrading your RAM.
