Hp pavillion zt3000
Microsoft Windows XP

I had to reset the HP Pavillion ZT3000 because it crashed and I had to order a a disc but when I reinstalled XP using the disc it no longer had the WIFI option. I have gone online to find the drivers and that has not worked at all.

Hi:

What is the product number of your notebook?

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

Please do not post the serial number.

Hi:

Below is the link to the XP driver you need for the wifi adapter your notebook has...

This package contains drivers for the listed Intel PRO/Wireless adapters in the listed notebook models and operating systems.

You're very welcome.

Probably a security thing.

Did you upgrade to XP SP3?

If not, you either need to do that, or install the WPA security patch for XP SP2, and I don't know if that is available anymore.

The file has been removed from the MS website.

You can get the XP SP3 file from the link below...or if you can connect via ethernet, get it from Windows update.
