Hi@casa2
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing Intel Optane issues with the HP Laptop
I have a few recommendations
- It's generated when Device Manager can't start the hardware device, a situation usually caused by outdated or corrupted drivers.
- Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
Enable Intel Optane memory in the Setup Utility:
- Open the BIOS by restarting the computer and repeatedly pressing F10 to enter Setup.
- Select Advanced, select System Options, and then select Configure Storage Controller for Intel Optane.
- Restart the computer.
To enable Intel Optane memory using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology application, use the following instructions:
- Open the Intel Rapid Storage Technology application.
- Click the Intel Optane memory tab.
- Click Enable.
- Select a compatible fast drive, and then click Yes.
NOTE: The compatible drive option displays only if more than one Intel Optane memory module is installed in the computer.
- After the enable process is complete, click Reboot to restart the computer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
