hi good evening, I would like to safe guard the data's that stored in laptop, so will anyone help in steps to creat the password for the local disk?

Personally, I would advise against that, as once you encrypt the drive, that makes backup and recovery almost impossible -- as folks them come here complaining about losing their bitlocker key and expecting us to provide them a workaround -- which does not exist.
