Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Suddenly my laptop, which worked fine for years, only prints page after page of 

random characters. I use the wired connection to the Kyocera CS 3554ci printer. I have to cancel the job quickly on the printer but a lot of paper is wasted. We have bought a new USB cable but it still does it. I have 3 USB ports on my laptop and none will work. Help!
