Hey there, zBook question.

I recently tried to get info from the "Help Desk" about how to fix a problem with the default programs installed by HP. The HP help desk attendant... Amit... literally hung up after only telling him my location... So I'm writing to the forum.

All of the "HP Sure" systems are made by Bromium and come default with the system.  It's preventing systems like Steam from fully downloading files and chopping off half of them. Or at least that's what the Steam support told me. So I came here hoping to find a few answers.

I think I found it.

It is a separate system called "HP Sure Sense" that was janking my download. Its an Antivirus program that does not get listed in the Antivirus section of Windows, so I did not know it existed until I started digging around a bit more.
I looked into its quarantine log and it says "Steam is a virus" "Steam is a virus" repeatedly...

I put "steam.exe" in the exclusions list and it works now.
Kind of upset this Antivirus isn't listed properly on the Windows page.
