Microsoft Windows 11

My "up" button on my keypad is now my delete button and my delete button doesn't work at all.

I have tried to select and de-select my "insert" option but that hasn't worked.

Please help

@Doug180

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issue with the HP Notebook Keyboard keys are not working correctly.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Check in command prompt and on a notepad if the keys work fine
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Use HP PC Hardware Diagnostics to complete functional test of the keyboard and identify any problems with the hardware.
  • Try doing system restore on the PC if it had worked fine few days ago.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
