Okay makes perfect sense now. I believe the laptop still works and be sure not to tamper with your drive any further. If you need to recover your system in the future, just use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool.

Hi, @Yano1960 I will need more information from you. Did you format your laptop recently because I believe the recovery partition comes pre-installed with the Windows Operating System and formating the system could have possibly deleted the partition.
