reinstalling cyberlink powerdirector not a valid hp drive

HP Recommended
hp 15 notebook pc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

after the hard drive went out on my notebook, i had to replace it and install a fresh copy of windows 10. i've installed and updated all my drivers and most of the cyberlink software i have available to me. powerdirector will not install. it gets part of the way through and they gives an error saying not a valid hp drive, install will abort.

@fireproof_505, Welcome to HP Support Community!

How was the reset attempted, did you make use of the HP Recovery partition (F11) or did you use the HP recovery media?
If you don't have an HP Recovery media and have attempted reset using the windows troubleshooter or a retail copy of windows, you'll need to order a recovery media: Click here for steps.

Or you may also attempt to download the same using the steps on this link: click here
