HP stream 11

I had a hp stream 11 for some years now. Recently I’ve been trying to let someone put all my images on a usb  drive. Problem is my screen is broken and all the passwords I’ve used is not working. She said they tried everything on their end as well is it anything else I could try ? I only want the images she said to replace the screen and for them to take the images off I’ll be looking at about 200

You have two separate issues here...

First, there is the password issue.  Since we are not allowed, by Community forum policy, to assist in bypassing or resetting passwords, we can not assist you in that.

Second, there is the issue of recovery files from the "drive" (which is really a memory stick with a controller chip on it so it looks to Windows like a "drive").  Normally, you simply remove a Hard Drive or SATA SSD from a PC, connect it to another, and use File Manager to transfer files.  But the Stream models use SSDs that are soldered to the system boards, so removing them without breaking them is very difficult and we can not assist in that.

However,  If you follow the directions below to use another PC to create USB boot media, you can then try booting your PC from it, connecting a USB stick and copying the files you need to that stick:

If your PC can not boot into Windows, a way around that is to follow the instructions below to create boot media from Macrium Reflect (MR) that can be used to rewrite/repair the boot media on your PC:
1) Download and install Macrium Reflect (MR) from this link: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx
2) Use the option to create a boot USB stick or CD

That will create MR bootable media. Then, you can boot your PC into WinPE using that media.

Have patience, as that can take a while to start and bring up the screen.

Once the screen is there, read this thread about using PE Explorer -- a simple file explorer: https://forum.macrium.com/PrintTopic15803.aspx

If your disk still works, you might be then able to retrieve some files and folders from it.

Good Luck
