hp 15s-1079eq
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi, i just bought a new hp15s-1079eq.

Is there a way i can set a battery limit to its charge? so that it will stop charging after reaching 70% capacity instead of 100%.

i looked in the BIOS but i could not find what i was looking for.

Thanks.

Your PC doesn't support HP Battery Health Manager so there's no built in way to do that.

You'll have to use a wifi smart plug and a script like this if you want to set a battery limit.

@SempAmman

No -- the battery will automatically continue to charge until it reaches 100% or close to that.
