sir i want to know that why two 4gb ram is used in my laptop instead of directly using 8gb ram
and in if future if i want to upgrade ram suppose i want to add 8gb more than what is the use because i have to remove your one of the 4gb ram from the slot , and my data in the ram will also be erased please clarify it sir i am worried

We do not work for or represent HP.
The most likely reason why HP installed 2 x 4 GB of memory in your notebook is because it runs in the higher performing dual channel mode.
Single Channel vs Dual Channel Memory - Laptop Gaming and CPU Benchmarks - YouTube
1 x 8 GB of memory runs in single channel mode.
While I agree with you 100% that simply adding another 8 GB memory chip in the empty slot is much more cost effective than having to remove both 4 GB chips and installing 2 x 8 GB, HP does not take into account what your individual plans are.
Installing memory will have no effect on the data stored on your notebook's storage drive.
