Hi! @k_c-d1965, I am the MrRobot. It looks like you were interacting with @Chimney_83, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
As you mentioned even after trying out the steps the issue still persists.
Kudos to you for trying out the steps.
Please try updating the HP system utility to the1.20 version using this link and check if it helps.
Try running the file as administrator. Right click on the file and click run as administrator.
Let me know if this helps!
Have a beautiful day ahead! 🙂

Greetings @k_c-d1965,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you were installing some HP updates are getting an error. Don't worry, I will be glad to help.
Thanks for sharing the screenshot.
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?
Do you recall the update by any chance?
Recommend you to close the error message.
Close any applications that are open on the computer.
Press Win + R to bring up the Run dialog box on your computer.
Type %temp% and hit enter. This would bring up the temporary files folder.
Delete all the files listed there. You might not be able to delete few of them, ignore them.
Restart the computer and run HP Support Assistant.
HPSA would check for any updates required and prompt you to install them on your computer.
Please refer to this HP Article for assistance in using HP Support Assistant.
Let me know if this helped.

I did everything you said, but when I checked for updates and messages it said No Available Updates. What do I do now?
