I've got this optional update on Windows update, "Hewlett-Packard development company, L.P. - standard 101/102-key or Microsoft natural ps/2 keyboard for HP hotkey support". I've tried to install it but keeps on pooping up again in view the optional updates. I tried to search for solutions but the threads I come across point to old links that are no longer working. Since its an optional update, do I have to worry about not installing it? If yes, how then do I install it?

Hi:

I keep getting that update too on several of my HP notebooks, and it hasn't worked on one of them yet.

You can prevent that pesky update from showing up by running the hide windows update utility.
