I bought a laptop which seems to be brand new and at the price of a brand new hp notebook.A friend of mine told me it could be refurbished since it has sticker at the back of the laptop which bears the laptop model,serial number among other details.The serial number on the sticker matches the serial number that I get from command prompt.Could this sticker be hiding a different and the real serial number of the laptop which is usually engraved at the laptop body?.kindly clarify

Laptop should have a sticker or stikers which is similar to the following image
