Hello everynody.
Same issue on a few months old 15-cs0012ns. It seems to stop when using the computer, but the sound is exactly the same when in rest, screen off, etc.
Any guess about its origin? Failure or normal behaviour...?
Kind regards,
Andres

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that there is a noise coming from the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
- Is the noise coming from the system fan?
- Is the computer overheating?
Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphic driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hello,
thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the computer is up to date and I don't think the clicking comes from the fan, due to its low repetition rate. The sound is the same in the recording by OBG96 at https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Software-and-How-To-Questions/strange-clicking-noise-with-my-...
I thought I had posted my question as a reply at that thread, sorry for my mistake.
Kind regards,
Andres
