omen 15-dc0009nq
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i recently bought this laptop, "HP Omen 15-0009" and  I noticed that after I start task manager, a process called "System interrupts" is using 100% CPU's resources and its last only 1 second but its very, very annoying.Usually it use only 0.2-0.8%  from CPU usage, but I am thinking if it will rise during the months/years.

I know that is not very bad, but I am curious if it can affect my laptop performance.I made some research and I saw that at other people system interrupts occurs over 20% from CPU usage.

My final question is:Should i do something to solve this or leave it as it is?

@Vincent15 Welcome to HP Forums Community! And here's what you need to know:

System Interrupts is an official part of Windows and, while it does appear as a process in Task Manager, it’s not really a process in the traditional sense. Rather, it’s an aggregate placeholder used to display the system resources used by all the hardware interrupts happening on your PC.

Hardware interrupts are a core part of any computer and they are used to effectively manage and run many activities simultaneously. There are hundreds of processes executing simultaneously on your computer. Interrupts are used as a mechanism to execute an important instruction right away by suspending the activity of some other processes or they are used by processes to alert the CPU that they are ready for execution.

That said if you feel it's taking up a lot of your CPU Usage, here's what you could do to fix that issue, although up to 2-3% is normal:

Solution 1: Disabling USB Root Hubs

Solution 2: Disabling Audio Enhancements

Solution 3: Disabling the Wake on Magic Packet Settings

Solution 4: Installing Intel Rapid Storage Technology

Solution 5: Turning off Fast Startup

Let me know how that pans out,
