I have a simple solution for you: create a Win 10 install media using Rufus or similar (you can find latest Win 10 iso for free), boot your computer to it, and after selecting your edition of windows (don’t mess up, select the same that’s installed on your computer), select that you have no product key, and then when it asks if you want to just install windows or to update keeping your files, select update.

If you BOOT from Windows media, it will not offer an Upgrade in place option; instead, it will replace the existing install and the customer will lose everything in the process.

If you only MOUNT the ISO, then you should be able to do the in-place upgrade.
