Hello @MooseSquirrel1, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP ZBook Studio 15.6-inch G8 Mobile Workstation.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

The issue you're experiencing with the "Energy Server Service queencreek service" terminating unexpectedly on your HP ZBook Studio 15.6-inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC might be related to system software or drivers. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Steps to Resolve:
Update BIOS and Drivers:

Ensure your system BIOS is up to date. You can download the latest BIOS update for your specific model from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
After updating the BIOS, make sure all other drivers (especially chipset, graphics, and network drivers) are also updated to the latest versions available on the HP website.
Check for Windows Updates:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to ensure that your Windows 11 is up to date. Install any available updates.
Restore Default BIOS Settings:

Sometimes, incorrect BIOS settings might cause service interruptions. Enter the BIOS setup utility (usually by pressing F10 during startup) and restore the default settings.
Examine Event Viewer:

Open the Event Viewer to get more details about the error. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
Browse through the Windows Logs > System to find any error codes or detailed descriptions surrounding the time of the service failure.
Reinstall Intel Software:

If the Intel Driver & Support Assistant or any Intel software is causing issues, try reinstalling it after removing all related applications via Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
Disable Startup Services:

To see if this service is necessary at startup, you can use the Task Manager. Go to Task Manager > Startup tab and disable unnecessary services.

Take care and have an amazing day!
