I've had this problem for months and at first simply uninstalling and reinstallling the driver did the trick but now it won't
work anymore. I'm looking for the updated driver and it's not on the HP support website because the OS version I have doesn't match.. which is weird.
I tried to update windows, reset the system, BIOS update, and nothing is working 😞
I'm really losing hope atp and very desperate as you can imagine.
Currently have to plug in a mouse every time I use the laptop.

Have you made any changes to your PC software or hardware?
Refer to this HP support site and under -driver chipset- click on Intet Human Interface device. That is the last updated version we currently have.
If you have already tried and didn't help, I recommend you contact phone support, they will help you via remote assistance.
