- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand Human Interface Devices.
- Look for HID-compliant touch screen.
- If it's disabled, right-click and select Enable.
- Restart your laptop and test the touchscreen.
2. Recalibrate the Touchscreen
- Open Control Panel (Win + R, type control, and press Enter).
- Go to Hardware and Sound → Tablet PC Settings.
- Click Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Update Touchscreen Drivers
- Open Device Manager (Win + X → Device Manager).
- Right-click HID-compliant touch screen and select Update Driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers.
- Restart your laptop after the update.
4. Run Windows Troubleshooter

- Select Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter.
Fixing the Touchpad Gesture Issue
