Hi,

Four days ago, after a Windows 11 update, the touchpad and keyboard on my HP Pavilion x360 15 laptop stopped working. I have tried many troubleshooting steps, but none of them have resolved the issue.

I am posting here in the hope that someone from the community or HP support can suggest a solution, as I am currently stuck.

One thing I have not yet tried is updating the BIOS/firmware. I specifically need BIOS version F.19 for my laptop, but I could not find it on the HP Support website.

If anyone knows where I can download BIOS F.19 or has any suggestions to fix this issue, I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Hi @MuhammadZahid92,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for reaching out. We understand how frustrating it can be when the keyboard and touchpad stop responding after a Windows 11 update, especially when you've already tried multiple troubleshooting steps.

Regarding your question about BIOS version F.19, HP only provides BIOS versions that are available for your specific notebook model on the official HP support website. If BIOS F.19 is not listed, it is not available for download through HP.

To check for the latest BIOS available for your notebook, we recommend using either:

  • HP Support Assistant, which can automatically detect and install the latest BIOS and firmware updates for your system.
  • Your notebook's official HP Support page at https://support.hp.com, where you can search using your product number or serial number to view all available BIOS updates.

If the latest BIOS available for your model is newer than your current version, please update it and let us know whether the keyboard and touchpad functionality is restored.

If the issue persists after updating the BIOS (if an update is available), please let us know the exact product number of your HP Pavilion x360 15 (or the serial number via private message), along with the troubleshooting steps you've already performed. This will help us review your configuration further and provide the most appropriate guidance.

We look forward to your update and are happy to assist further.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
