HP account creation email not received

I understand your HP account creation is incomplete and you haven’t received the confirmation email. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Check if the email was blocked or filtered
– Confirm it’s not in Spam, Junk, Promotions, or “Other” folders.
– Add “@hp.com” and “@email.hp.com” to your safe sender list.

Verify the email address used during registration
– Try signing in at account.hp.com using the same email.
– If it says “account already exists,” choose “Forgot password.”

Use the password reset option
– Click Forgot password on the HP login page.
– If you receive that email, the account exists and can be activated through password reset.

Touchpad not working after startup (driver needs reinstall every time)

I understand your laptop’s touchpad stops working every time you start the system, and only works after reinstalling the driver. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Disable Windows from automatically uninstalling drivers
– Open Device Manager → Touchpad device → Properties → Power Management.
– Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”

Reinstall the correct OEM driver, not the generic one
– Visit HP Support → Drivers & Software → enter your laptop model.
– Install the official Synaptics/ELAN/Precision Touchpad driver.
– After installing, restart the laptop normally.

Stop Windows from replacing the touchpad driver
– Settings → Windows Update → Advanced options → Optional updates.
– Uncheck any driver update for “HID / Touchpad / Precision” so Windows doesn’t overwrite the HP driver.

Check BIOS for touchpad settings
– Restart the laptop and press Esc → F10 to enter BIOS.
– Ensure the internal pointing device/touchpad is Enabled, not “Advanced” or “Off.”

I hope this helps.
