my touch pad is not working please help me

You can first enter the BIOS (UEFI graphical interface, where mouse input is supported) and check whether the touchpad works normally there.

If the touchpad still does not function in the BIOS environment, Windows drivers are not involved at that stage, so the issue is more likely hardware-related. In that case, it is recommended to have the device inspected at an authorized HP service center.
