Hi @Akash7861,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for reaching out. I understand your HP Stream Notebook – 11-d023tu touchpad isn’t working, and I’m here to help you get it back up and running.
1. Check If the Touchpad Is Disabled
Sometimes the touchpad may be accidentally disabled via a shortcut:
- Press Fn + F6 (or look for the touchpad icon on any of the function keys, usually F6 or F5).
- If your keyboard has a separate touchpad toggle key, try that too.
2. Enable Touchpad in Settings
- Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad
- Make sure the touchpad is turned on
- If it’s already on, try toggling it off and on again
3. Update or Reinstall Touchpad Driver
- Press Windows + X and choose Device Manager
- Expand Mice and other pointing devices
- Right-click on the touchpad device (usually listed as “Synaptics” or “HID-compliant touchpad”) and choose:
- Update driver → Search automatically
- If that doesn’t help, select Uninstall device and restart your laptop – Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
