I bought this laptop yesterday and cannot seem to get the touchpad to allow me to scroll or use any other touch-and-go features. I have tried updating the driver, rollingback, uninstalling and reinstalling. I really need to be able to scroll on the laptop and I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion on which touchpad driver I can install in order to get those abilities. Someone suggested installing a synaptic driver, but when I browse and unclick compatible hardware, Synaptics isn't even an option under manufacturer. The only drivers that are under the compatible hardware are the PS/2 compatible mouse and the ELAN touchpad.

The drivers for the Elan touchpad are at the following link in the driver, keyboard mouse and input devices section.

Click on the Settings icon>Devices>touchpad. That is where you can access all of the features Windows 10 has for your Elan touchpad.
Take a read of the following article.
