How do I transfer all my data from my dying G42 to my new Envy x360?

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...
To be blunt, it is simply NOT possible to transfer ALL your date from one PC to another.

What CAN be transferred includes: personal accounts and settings, Browser settings and favorites, personal data files and folders, applications (some). If this is ALL the stuff you want to transfer, then you are in luck because there are special applications out that just for this purpose.

They are EASEUS ToDo PC Transfer and Laplink PC Mover Pro.  Laplink has other versions but only the Pro version transfers applications.  They do basically the same thing, with very different interfaces, in that they allow you to transfer stuff from one PC directly connected to another PC, or by creating a migration file on one PC, copying that file through external media to a second PC, and loading information from that media onto the second PC.

Neither of these are free, but they have specials from time to time and can be had for as low as $30.
