Hi @darnelltaylor,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble downloading Microsoft 365 on Windows 11,
here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1. Check Your Internet Connection
Ensure your internet connection is stable and fast enough to handle the download. Try rebooting your modem/router if needed.
2. Use the Correct Microsoft Account
- Make sure you're logged in with the same Microsoft account associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription.
- Visit Microsoft Account to verify your account details.
3. Check Available Storage
- Ensure you have enough disk space on your PC to download and install Microsoft 365.
- Go to Settings > System > Storage to check available space.
4. Disable Antivirus/Firewall Temporarily
- Sometimes, antivirus software or the firewall may block the download. Try temporarily disabling them and then downloading again.
5. Use a Different Browser
- If you’re downloading Microsoft 365 from the website, try a different browser (e.g., Edge, Chrome, Firefox).
6. Use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant
The Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant can diagnose and fix many issues with Office installations:
- Download the tool here.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to troubleshoot your installation issue.
7. Clear Previous Installation Files
If you had a failed installation attempt, there may be leftover files causing issues:
- Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps and search for any existing Office apps.
- Uninstall them and restart your computer before trying again.
8. Run the Office Uninstall Support Tool
- Use the Office Uninstall Tool to remove any previous partial installs.
- Download the tool here.
- After the uninstall completes, try downloading and installing Microsoft 365 again.
9. Download the Offline Installer
- You can try downloading the offline installer from your Microsoft account.
- Sign in to your Microsoft account, go to Services & Subscriptions, and click Install Office. Look for the Offline Installer option.
10. Retry Installation After a Restart
- Restart your computer and try running the installation again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
