Hi @VietnamVet6768 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're facing issues installing HP Support Assistant on your HP Laptop PC 15s-Fq2000, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:

Download the Latest Version: Ensure that you are downloading the latest version of HP Support Assistant from the official HP website. Newer versions may have bug fixes and improvements that could address installation issues.

Check System Requirements: Verify that your laptop meets the system requirements for HP Support Assistant. Ensure that your operating system is supported and that there are no conflicting software or hardware issues.

Run as Administrator: Right-click on the installation file and choose "Run as Administrator." This ensures that the installation process has the necessary permissions to be completed successfully.

Disable Antivirus/Firewall: Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software you have running on your computer. Sometimes, security software can interfere with the installation process.

Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot to start Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This can help identify if there's a conflict with other software during the installation. Instructions for a clean boot can vary depending on your Windows version.

Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your operating system is up to date by checking for and installing any available Windows updates.

Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework: HP Support Assistant relies on Microsoft .NET Framework. Uninstall the current version of .NET Framework and then download and install the latest version from the official Microsoft website.

Clear Temporary Files: Use a tool like Disk Cleanup to remove temporary files that might be interfering with the installation process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
