Hi  @Jayu8838

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are unable to update the Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controllers driver on your HP ENVY x360 13.3-inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 13-bf0000, Don't worry let me check and help you with this .

To help us better understand the issue, could you kindly provide a few additional details?

  1. Are you updating the driver through Windows Update, Device Manager, or HP Support Assistant?
  2. Do you see any yellow exclamation marks or unknown devices under Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus Controllers?

In the meantime, you may try the following:

  • Run Windows Update and install all pending updates.
  • Open Device Manager, expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers, right-click the affected device, and select Uninstall device.
  • Restart the notebook and allow Windows to automatically reinstall the driver.
  • Run HP Support Assistant and install any available chipset, BIOS, or driver updates.

Also, could you kindly share the serial number via private message so that we can check the product details and help you further .
