@tgaffer, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Let's get your HP OfficeJet printers working smoothly with Windows 11. Below are the steps to update drivers for both models:

For HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer

Visit the official HP driver download page: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 Drivers & Software

Select Windows 11 as your operating system (if not auto-detected).

Download the HP Easy Start or Full Feature Software and Driver.

Install the driver:

  • Right-click the downloaded file and select Run as Administrator.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Connect the printer via USB or Wi-Fi when prompted.

Restart your PC after installation.

For HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One Printer Series

Go to the official HP support page: HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 Drivers & Software

Download the HP Easy Start setup tool.

During installation:

  • Choose the Full Feature Software option when prompted.
  • If using USB, connect the cable only when instructed.

After installation, restart your computer.

If you see a "Driver unavailable" error:

  • Run the Windows Troubleshooter:
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Printer.
  • Ensure the HP 9010 is set as the default printer.
  • Remove any old or conflicting printers from Devices and Printers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
