@thedogfatherind, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding battery driver!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To install the battery driver for your OMEN by HP 15-dh0135tx running Windows 11, follow these steps:
Update Battery Driver via Device Manager
- Right-click on the Start Menu and select Device Manager.
- Expand Batteries.
- Right-click on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers and follow the instructions.
- Restart your laptop after the update.
Reinstall Battery Driver
If the update doesn’t work, try reinstalling the driver:
- In Device Manager, right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and select Uninstall device.
- Click Uninstall, then restart your laptop.
- Windows will automatically reinstall the battery driver.
Install HP Drivers Manually
- Visit this link.
- Enter your OS Version.
- Expand Driver-Chipset and download:
- Intel Chipset Installation Utility
- Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver
- Install both drivers and restart your laptop.
Let me know if that helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
