In the HP support assistant software I see the remaining warranty for 9 months, But the notebook was bought this week (of course I have the invoice), how do I fix?

Hi:

 

For whatever reason, HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

 

You will have to contact HP customer service in your country to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted.

 

You should be able to generate an online support ticket using the support assistant, or it may give you a telephone number to call.

 

Otherwise, I have this old HP business PC phone directory, and you can see if the support number for your country is still valid.
