@CarolynEW,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Notebook 15s-fq1002na (8UD17EA) requires the HP p/n: L11119-855 ("Assembly-battery 3C 41W 3.6A LI HT03XL").

You can purchase a quality replacement battery for your laptop online, such as this example: https://www.amazon.com/HT03XL-15-CS0073CL-15-CS0061CL-15-DA0012DX-15-DB0011DX/dp/B09FJQ71FX/ref=sr_1....

And here is a DIY battery replacement YouTube video for your model (or close to it): (246) HP 15s-fq1515na Battery Replacement Guide - YouTube.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

@CarolynEW,

Please verify, out of stock on Amazon-US? From my angle they are in stock:

Or this in-stock HT03XL option: Amazon.com: HT03XL L11119-855 Laptop Battery for HP Pavilion 15-CS 15-CW 15-CU 15-DA 15-DB 15-DW 14-...:

And yes, you could still run your laptop on mains with a weak battery.
