On most HP notebooks, you can turn the camera on or off using a combination of keys. Typically, you need to press the Function key (Fn) along with the designated camera key, (like F6, F8, or F10) with a camera icon (📷 or a crossed-out camera). However, this can vary depending on the specific model of your HP notebook.

 

If this doesn't work, you might also have a webcam privacy switch or a webcam shutter key located on the side of your laptop or near the camera.
