Hi @NRK2407,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 11 is missing Wi-Fi drivers, here’s how you can fix it:

Step 1: Check Device Manager

  1. Press Windows + X → choose Device Manager.
  2. Expand Network Adapters.
    • If you don’t see any Wi-Fi adapter (like Realtek, Intel, or MediaTek), it’s likely missing or disabled.
  3. Check Other Devices for “Unknown Device”; this could be your Wi-Fi card.

Step 2: Download Drivers Manually

Since Wi-Fi isn’t working, use another device to download drivers from HP’s site:

  1. Visit: Official HP® Support
  2. Enter your HP Pavilion model number (e.g., 15-dw1001TU).
  3. Choose Windows 11 as the OS.
  4. Download the Wi-Fi driver under the “Network” section.
    • Common drivers: Realtek RTL8821CEIntel Wireless-ACMediaTek MT7921.

Transfer the file via USB and install it.

Step 3: Use HP Support Assistant

If you can connect via Ethernet or USB tethering:

  1. Download and install HP Support Assistant: HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
  2. Run it to automatically detect and install missing drivers.

Step 4: Enable Wi-Fi in BIOS

Sometimes the Wi-Fi adapter is disabled in BIOS:

  1. Restart your laptop and press Esc or F10 to enter BIOS.
  2. Look for Wireless LAN or Internal Network Adapter and make sure it’s enabled.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
