I have an HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-ed1013dx (cnd0506k00) with a western digital sn770 NVMe ssd  that i just recently installed, when i installed i only had an ubuntu 22.04 bootable disk available to get it up and running again, and just finally got around to getting windows back on my machine.

however i run into the issue that when i try to reinstall windows from the bootable usb device, it will boot but i have no mouse and it cannot find my ssd, it just keeps turning back "we cant find any drives to get a storage driver click load"

I have tried the other threads that suggest the intel rapid storage technologies drivers but no luck, anyone have any suggestions?

Hi:

If the solution I provided to many other forum members that have notebooks with the Intel 11th gen core processors does not work for you...

Solved: Win 10 install not recognizing the NVME - HP Support Community - 8510047

...then the only other suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.

HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support

You will have to use the utility on another PC, so you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

Your PC's product number is: 1G0E4UA#ABA
