Help - I downloaded the new windows update yesterday on my HP Stream (had to use usb drive). Restarted my computer as instructed around 12:30 am and it is still only at 19% 14hours later

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
You can stop the installation process and try once again initiate windows update,
If that fails, Ensure your connection is set to Metered one and download the media creation tool from Microsoft: http://microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 Run MediaCreationTool.exe Click Upgrade this PC now Select Keep personal files and apps.

- What happens when you start the computer?
- Are you able to see the HP logo?
If it's a software-related issue, no need to ship the unit in for repair, Just by reinstalling the Windows operating system you can fix the issue.

Hi! @Shell2015,
It looks like the recovery drive you received might be corrupted, so you are getting this error.
Please contact HP and reorder another set of recovery kit.

Try updating the latest version of SD card reader driver using this link. Click Here
If you still have issues try updating the drivers using HP recovery manager.
