HP ZBook 17 G2 Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I my ZBook 17 G2 has finally upgraded to windows 10 pro 64 bit with a clean formatting of my HDD.

The finger sensor is not recognized by windows hello. The driver I have is version 4.5.345.0

is there any later driver compatible with windows 10?

Also where could I download the HP client security for my system?

Thanks

 Kind Regards,

Hi:

There is a newer W10 fingerprint sensor driver on your notebook's support page.

4.5.356.0

Your notebook's support page doesn't have the HP Client Security Software listed but the ZBook 17 G3 does.

Hi,

I have upgraded the driver to 4.5.356.0 but windows Hello still does not recognise it.

The client security for G3 is working however, in the fingerprint section it come with the message "Connect the reader to manage your enrolled fingers".

What else can I do to get it working?

Many thanks

Kind regards

You're very welcome,

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with fingerprint readers, so I would not know how to get it to work.
