(1) Start windows <device manager>

- Right click on <i2c hid device>

- Update driver

- Choose "Search for updated drivers on Windows Update" see below

I went to optional updates as you underlined and am installing two new pieces of software and will update you,

On reboot, the touchpad shows the same problem.

 

However, the touchpad worked in the Windows shell as the BIOS updated - I could move the cursor around with the touchpad and the wireless mouse I am using.

For the first file you told me to search for "hidi2c.inf" I get these folders and filesinfo1.PNG

For the second item you told me to search for "hidi2c.sys" I get these 3 files
