HP ENVY Laptop 13-ba1000 (1F4E3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I bought a 13.3" HP ENVY laptop one year and less than one month ago (25 days) and the screen popped out of its hinge last night and appears to be coming apart. I'm in complete shock because I've been very careful with this notebook and bought it mainly because I thought the metal casing would make the product more sturdy. The warranty expired, coincidentally, less than a month ago, and when I looked up how to contact customer service for this problem, it is all over the internet that this problem with the HP ENVY laptop screens have been happening for years. I would really appreciate HP standing behind their product and fixing this problem and making the situation right.

Hi @JulieCc1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

I see that you are facing hinge issues with your HP ENVY Laptop 13-Ba1000 (1F4E3AV).

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
Note: Select your country from the dropdown,  enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.

Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
