Hi:
Since you are not too far along, what I recommend you do is to start fresh with a clean install of W10 since you know where to find the drivers for your PC now.
You can make a bootable W10 64-bit USB installation flash drive with the Microsoft media creation tool from the link below.:
For one thing, W10 should automatically install the Intel HD 5500 graphics driver during the installation process and there should be no need to install a graphics driver for it.
If the graphics driver is installed properly as I wrote yesterday, the Display adapters device manager category should not be open with a problematic Intel graphics adapter showing.
You should have to click to expand that device manager category in order to see a properly working Intel graphics adapter.

Thanks for all the help. While it seems the logical solution, and may very well end up doing that, I think I will see how things go. I go back to work today, so I won't have time for too much major installation for a bit.
