HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D119AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My company just bought this laptop for me to use. I have 2 monitors that I need to hook up but my docking stations are not recognized.  I have a USB  and a USB C Hub docking station and neither of them work. Any advise on how to fix this?

@Cstrunk

What is your HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D119AV)  machine ? I could be one of the following over 190 machines, for example

              HP Laptop 15s-fq2003ns

Your machine should have same ports as the above machine. It ONLY has 1 hopeless SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

Other option: :   https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05357751

The USB-C hub is useless in terms of display. What is your USB dock ?

Regards
