Hi,
I bought 2 HP monitors recently (HP 27yh and HP 24yh) and trying to connect to my HP Laptop 14-df0023cl
monitor 1: Properly connected through HDMI
monitor 2: Connected through USB C to HDMI adapter but it doesn't display anything.
I've tried switching the HDMI cable with the other monitor and it displays correctly which proves there's no issue with the monitor. Please guide me what's wrong.
Thanks in advance

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06166782
It has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s) port. Using USB-C to HDMI to connect to a monitor WON'T give you anything, this port does NOT support.
If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (plus notebook screen, total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products:
https://www.displaylink.com/products/universal-docking-stations
or try following HP docks
https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/getpdf.aspx/c04168358
My pick for productivity and few more years down the track (you can use USB-A port on your current machine and USB-C for next machine)
HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2
