This has stumped my colleagues.

 

My new laptop won't detect monitors on my HP USB-C G5 Dock.   It works on other HP USB-C G5 Docks, and other laptops work on the HP USB-C G5 Dock that fails with my device.

 

We've tried just about everything.

HP has few different USB-C G5 docks they are not the same. Which HP USB-C G5 do you use ?

I'm not sure how to differentiate them.  This one has a part number of 5TW10UT#ABA and looks like this one:    https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-usb-c-dock-g5-p-26d32aa-abl-1
